The Johnson & Johnson Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) team is seeking a passionate individual for the Senior Manager of Security Digital Communications to partner and interact with executives on communications and engagement initiatives, projects, and programs to explain how we are fulfilling our mission to drive greater impact through a modern view of governance, risk and compliance. The Senior Manager of Digital Communications will be responsible for the shaping, creation, and maintenance of communication materials for the portfolio in order to elevate our Information Security Risk Management presence and drive a consistent brand internally, to our business, and the Enterprise in order to amplify business impact and showcase technology innovation.

As part of this role, the candidate is expected to be a strategic leader and great storyteller: Someone who is proactive and can shape messages to the executive committee, the business groups, to all levels of IT, and to all J&J associates worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Shape, build, and lead a multi-channel communication strategy for Security that enables business outcomes
  • Lead the design of materials, templates, standardization & education of comms best practices
  • Develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
  • Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio, and print content
  • Supervise engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions
  • Lead presence at events and conferences
  • Build the budget for communications and ensure compliance
  • Establish and analyze metrics of communication material and adjust approaches to improve the effectiveness of publications

Required

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
  • The ability to translate complex clinical concepts into simple, digestible, and appealing visual displays
  • Ability to lead in times of ambiguity, strong influencing skills
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments as well as the ability to partner with Senior Leaders
  • Detail-orientation with the ability to efficiently fact-check and find errors with outstanding copywriting and copy-editing abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing
  • Solid understanding of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms
  • Strong leadership track record
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of communications, marketing or public relations or related experience
  • Experience managing digital content
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Established media relations a plus
