Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluating, defining, developing, and deploying new service support processes and/or enhancements to existing processes.
  • Applying Information Security Governance and assurance knowledge structurally in Information Security and providing support for assurance practices, implementation issues and questions
  • Providing expert advice on process improvements and developing improvement strategies.
  • Analyzing documentation, technical processes and specifications to determine the intended functionality.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • 2 years of relevant information security experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance programs, Audit or related field required.
  • Knowledge and experience with applicable Information Security Authoritative Sources (legislation, business regulators, and audit standards) including HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI (Payment Card Industry) and MAR, SSAE16 and GLBA.

Skills/Certifications

  • Industry standard certification required within 12 months of position acceptance
  • Analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and test new techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship and team building skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in individual, group, and large audience settings.

Job Specific Requirements:
