As the Senior Analyst, Applications Support, you will be responsible for reviewing technical requirements and supporting ongoing operations by responding to queries and problems. You’ll interact with XPO customers and XPO internal partners to document incoming support requests, triage support issues to downstream support teams, and provide regular feedback and updates to support requestors. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Perform technical audits and configurations from software development team(s) and external vendors to ensure data integrity before and after customer implementations
  • Address escalation support on difficult and recurring user incidents by applying systems analysis techniques and procedures
  • Review technical requirements for enhancements, provide time and effort estimates and work in partnership with business analysts and coordinators to issue project management updates
  • Communicate with external vendors while collaborating with internal IT counterparts to ensure solutions are developed on time and to required specifications
  • Partner with junior support team by reviewing test plans and escalations and assisting in the implementation of solutions
  • Support data and reporting needs of business owners to enable them to maximize efficiencies and optimize their respective business functions
  • Provide one-on-one and one-to-many user training on common issues at the tier 2 level and act as product liaison mentor to the junior support team
  • Assist in the support of day-to-day operations
  • Create documentation for end-users and internal support teams
  • Collaborate with the internal training team on content in the applications support curriculum
  • Collaborate with QA team members for system testing, upgrades and enhancements

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of technical experience in applications support or program/project management

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience with industry specific applications, including TMS platforms
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry business processes and support requirements
  • Can prioritize to ensure the highest levels of support to our business community
  • Can communicate effectively and translate IT speak to what end users can understand
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new applications
