As a Contracts Analyst you will be involved in procurement and contract management. You will use your detail oriented skills to read through contractual documents line by line and provide recommendations that align with legal requirements and company policies.

As the Contracts Analyst you will:

  • Draft, review, negotiate and process contracts and related documents to ensure compliance with Cloudera policies and procedures and mitigate risk overall.
  • Review, modify and process requisitions in Cloudera’s spend management platform in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in qualifying new suppliers and securing terms and conditions for each supplier.
  • Work in conjunction with various departments such as Marketing, Privacy, Governance Risk & Compliance, Accounts Payable, Talent Acquisition, and Information Security.
  • Maintain contract files, internal communications, and update procurement policies and procedures.
  • Understand and actively participate in established Cloudera policy, procedures, training and team activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 1-2 years of contract experience in drafting, analyzing, amending and negotiating vendor contracts.
  • Fundamental knowledge of purchasing procedures.
  • Excellent contract writing skills required and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research solutions and alternative contract language.
  • Proficiency in common office applications including G suite and Microsoft 365. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
