Summary

The Global Security group provides services and solutions to help protect Legendary personnel, property, content, and technology systems across the enterprise. This group protects the Legendary brand and reputation while enabling and supporting business objectives.

As a member of the Global Security team, the Security Engineer will be the lead resource in the Legendary Security Operations Center assisting with securing Legendary information assets and creative content. This is a senior-level position will be hands-on with some of the latest and greatest security technologies for an international cloud-first organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Security Operations Center
• Cyber security threat hunting, remediation orchestration, and innovation
• Identify advanced threats using traditional security tools and platforms
• Develop custom Indicators of Compromise and Indicators of Attack for threat sensors
• Utilize and cultivate threat feeds and platforms to provide overarching security posture and environment status
• Lead incident response and handling efforts
• Prepare, deliver reports and updates of cyber threats and issues involving or applicable to business units
• Stay abreast of Cyber Security trends, with an ability to articulate security-related themes and principles in business terms
• Drive the delivery of Cyber Security plans and implementation of leading practice controls, with an understanding of proactive defense principles and strategies
• Lead business-engaged risk exercises to identify and measure risk and develop mitigation strategies

Experience & Skills
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
• At least four (4) years of experience in any of the following: Cyber threat intelligence and threat intelligence platforms; Security Information and Event Management (SIEM); Cloud Access Security Brokerage (CASB); Identify and Access Management (IAM/SSO); Device Management or Trusted Device Architecture (MDM); Incident response protocols and tools; Network security, endpoint security, or security threat vectors
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Network Forensics Analyst (GNFA), Offensive Security (OSCP/OSCE/etc.), or other relevant certifications
• Passion for security and Film & Television
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with information security tools such as an enterprise SIEM solution, IDS/IPS, endpoint security solutions, email/web security gateways, and other security detection/mitigation devices
• Excellent attention to detail, solid follow-up skills, ability to think strategically and solve problems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interface at senior levels within and outside the organization
• Demonstrated ability to provide written and verbal communications to management to address real-time issues and incidents, including writing formal incident reports
• Very strong communication skills, and ability to work well with different groups of people across an organization
