Job Summary

ResMed is seeking a Senior Analytics Architect to report into the Sr Director of Product and Enterprise Analytics to build out and scale our next generation of Business Intelligence solutions. The business intelligence layer is a major component of our Global Data Platform, and therefore success in this role will require solutions that enable our BI technologies and capabilities to function in tight alignment with that underlying platform as we endeavor to meet the growing and evolving data needs of our ResMed colleagues. In short, this role will play a pivotal role in changing how data is accessed, analyzed, and shared at ResMed.

Accordingly, this role will play a major role in helping us use our data to improve our services, operations, products, as well as the lives and wellbeing of our customers.

Let’s Talk About Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical strategies for Analytics and Reporting solutions across the company
• Design and develop analytics automation capabilities, creating efficiencies wherever we deliver and maintain business intelligence solutions
• Develop and maintain high-availability, cloud-based business intelligence solutions that service the needs of our users and stakeholders
• Develop risk identification and mitigation strategies in our business intelligence solutions, integrating BI application monitoring with larger data platform observability efforts
• Design and advise on closed-loop solutions to ensure consistent and comprehensive awareness of how our analytics solutions are being used across the business
• Implement and maintain an information security model (as provided by our data governance function) for our business intelligence solutions
• Consult on reporting automation opportunities across our portfolio of work, creating efficiencies in how we deliver curated insights to stakeholders
• Provide thought leadership and recommendations regarding our business intelligence ecosystem, ensuring our solutions are consistently efficient, reliable, and extensible

Let’s Talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required

• 10+ years of experience with orchestration and administration of data and analytics applications
• Demonstrated extensive experience with data and analytics tools, technologies, and languages, e.g., Python, PowerShell, SQL, cloud based EDWs
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying data solutions that scale and bridge technologies across the analytics stack
• 10+ years of collective experience in Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Integration, Data Architecture, and Data Management
• Ability to operate in a complex, ambiguous environment while managing stakeholder expectations and creating prioritization alignment
• 10+ years of experience building and supporting self-service oriented analytics and business intelligence solutions
• 3+ years of experience building data activation solutions that deliver data insights to people and systems in both standard and customized forms

Preferred

• Effective communication skills, specifically the ability to translate technical requirements into business context and value
• Extensive analytics platform administration experience, including application implementation, migration, upgrading, patching, and security model maintenance
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
