Security Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with security strategy. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends in order to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering in mid to large environments
• Experience with designing architectures and frameworks
• Experience with identifying and resolving issues with security vulnerabilities and working to ensure developers incorporate security fixes
• Knowledge of system design tools, methods, and techniques, including automated systems analysis and design tools
• Knowledge of network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles, including application of defense-in-depth
• Knowledge of network systems management principles, tools, models, and methods, including end-to-end systems performance monitoring
• Top Secret clearance
• HS Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development
• Ability to apply system design tools, methods, and techniques, including automated systems analysis and design tools

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
