Global Cybersecurity Executive Director

Description

We are looking for a talented Global Cybersecurity Leader for our Filtration business headquartered in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid role based in Nashville, TN.

The Global Cybersecurity Leader is an executive role responsible for all cybersecurity operations for the Cummins Filtration business.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Provide the cybersecurity vision for the design and implementation of secure technologies that protect Cummins Filtration’s critical business and functions.
• Build global cybersecurity capabilities for the Filtration business to operate efficiently and to manage all risks related to cybersecurity.
• Responsible for identifying, evaluating, reporting, and mitigating information security risks in a manner that meets internal, compliance and regulatory requirements, and responding to incidents that may occur.
• Lead the development, enforcement, and maintenance of policies, procedures, measures, and mechanisms to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
• Oversee the safeguarding of intellectual property, customer information, financial transactions, and computer systems.
• Manage the ongoing documentation, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company‘s Information Security Program Framework, including publication of all security policies and oversight and collection/retention of all associated standards.
• Function as a liaison between company executives and the business organization for all information security initiatives or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legislative mandates through these policies and standards.
• Establish policies and procedures regarding areas such as information security, business continuity planning, loss prevention, fraud prevention, and privacy.
• Create and maintain the necessary security-related programs such as security awareness, business continuity, and incident management, etc.
• Provide updates on cybersecurity strategy, threats and incidents to executives and officers of the company.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• College, university, or recognized equivalent degree in the field of computer science, engineering/technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in a global organization with a minimum of 5 years in people management.
• Prior experience in leading cybersecurity for a global company.
• Extensive experience in successfully implementing Information Security programs and Enterprise Security programs.
• Solid expertise in cybersecurity industry trends.
• Manages complexity – Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
• CISM, CISSO, CCISO certifications highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
