ABOUT EPRM – What is EPRM?

EPRM is looking for a Network and Database Engineer who has a passion for building products, developing solutions, and solving problems. Ideal candidates should have strong technology background, should have built products in the past, and should be hands on. Experience in modern tech stack, cloud, container, scaling applications, microservices, data modeling, security, and risk management awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Network and Database Engineer you will be primarily responsible for creation of architecture and design artifacts for EPRM products and platforms
  • You are expected to be hands on and provide guidance and blueprints to engineers as required
  • You will be responsible for system integration, API, microservices, data modeling of the platforms adopting to modern technology stack and that may exist on premise or in the cloud.
  • You will play a critical role in building a platform that scales well and provide stability
  • You will be responsible for the full technology stack of the platform and products in your functional area.
  • Beyond your team you will be working with vulnerability management, Audit, Technical Controls, Assessment teams, Risk functions to create an ecosystem for data flow and exchange.
  • You will be working with a team of engineers, external teams, and partners in an agile manner to build and release product features that caters to business requirements.
  • You will be responsible for creating proof of concept, experimentation, prototypes

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or 10 years of experience in information technology

What do you NEED to have?

  • Extensive knowledge in building scalable, resilient, secure Enterprise application platforms
  • A hands-on experience in design, development, and implementation of applications/products in various platforms and technologies including proto-typing and proof of concepts.
  • Experience in creating Data models, writing queries and in interfacing with SQL/NO SQL systems
  • Experience in creating API services and hosting in virtual or cloud or in Containerized environment.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines as part of product release management
  • Experience or awareness in building User interfaces/Front end using modern JS library or frameworks.
  • Experience or Awareness about External party risk management and in Cybersecurity
  • Creative, Analytical problem-solving skills to provide solution despite constraints and limitations and should be detail oriented.
  • Passion to deliver against the odds and challenges in multifaceted complex environments.
  • Large scale integration experience with cross functional teams and disparate systems.
  • Ability to performance tune, optimize and stabilize systems

Preferred Qualifications:

CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional – Certification

TOGAF Certification is an added plus

Minimum Qualifications…

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or risk related field and 7 years’ experience in information technology or risk related field within the last 11 years OR 9 years’ experience in information technology or risk related field within the last 11 years.
