O365 Security Engineer

As the (Global) O365 Security Engineer, you will apply subject matter expertise in the design and operation of Microsoft’s O365 security and compliance applications, features and functionality. You will work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. You will provide expertise support and guidance to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of the Microsoft Office 365 Cloud platform, Security and Compliance, Application Integrations.
• Lead and participate in ongoing Office 365 security and strategy discussions.
• Provide level 3 and 4 support as well as engineering expertise of the various platforms and integrations with securing Yum’s 365 tenant.
• Design and oversee delivery of Microsoft’s O365 Security and corresponding CASB services.
• Design and implement support processes which are effective, efficient, and compliant with internal and external standards and reporting requirements.
• Proactive assessment of events to reduce incident trends.
• Collaborate cross functionally with infrastructure and application teams to implement use of our email and O365 systems where required or desired.
• Make recommendations to leadership in direction and development of tenant security roadmap.
• Stay current of all things Office 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
• Document system configurations, standards and procedures.
• Conversant with security best practices and an ability to apply security practices to client needs and challenges
• Drive Office 365 security adoption and lead technical effort to enable Azure Information Protection.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT support experience in an enterprise environment.
• Technical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience of supporting Microsoft O365.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD, Azure AD Premium, Azure AD Connects and AD FS) and AD DS Group Policy
• Must be fully vaccinated subject to reasonable accommodation as required by law. Proof of vaccination required on start date.
