JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Associate Information Security Director, Program Management in our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. We develop and introduce new security technologies, as well as enhancements to existing security technologies, in order to protect valuable IQVIA assets and improve IQVIA security posture. We work on technical solutions in the following security domains: identity and access management, data security, cloud security, network security, software development security, email security etc. We also provide security architecture consultation when needed.
Essential Functions:
- Leads the planning and implementation of the information security IAM program, responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of IAM security projects, ensuring consistency with overall strategy, commitments, and goals
- Provides leadership to team of project managers to deliver multiple IAM security projects, including some large and complex projects.
- Drives execution for on-time, on-scope delivery of IAM security solutions, releasing new features/capabilities, fixing bugs, and eliminating technical debts
- Facilitates the definition of program/project scope, goals and deliverables, maintain the program roadmap with clearly defined & attainable desired outcomes and value statements
- Produces InfoSec program and project level dashboards, scorecards, reporting and metrics to monitor progress & performance, and provide on-going written and verbal release status updates to senior, business partners and project team members updated on information security program execution.
- Communicates program status and escalate issues to key stakeholders, and clearly communicates “who, what, why, how?” of information security initiatives in simple to understand terms
- Manages expectations with stakeholders, and prepares professional communications around relevant information security topics
- Organizes workstream for integrating infosec project with business unit solution, serve as liaison between InfoSec and business
- Ensures effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple teams and vendors.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related degree.
- 10+ years in IT program/project management, with at least 3+ years in information security program delivery
- Formal knowledge of program management principles, processes, and tools
- Track record of successfully leading large/complex global cross functional projects, strong global project management experience on complex, cross-functional, large implementations
- Experience with system development lifecycle and project management methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum, in addition to Waterfall, strong experience with project / issue tracking systems such as JIRA.
- Proven experience in people management, conflict resolution, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
- Be able to distill complex problems into manageable tasks with clear goals for achievement
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to make good, timely decisions.
- Ability to manage customer expectations throughout the program implementation and delivery process.
- Excel at project documentation for effective task management, or recording specific processes/procedures
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and typical IT systems related to communicate effectively about the technical aspects of the program or projects
- Strong understanding of finances, budgeting and cost control on IT projects
- Excellent written and presentation skills, with ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with leadership, solution architecture, software engineering, testing and infrastructure teams
- Knowledge of working with vendor SOWs, RFPs, and contracts
- PMP, PMO, Scrum Certifications along with security certifications are a great plus\
- Desired knowledge areas: identity and access management, cloud security, network and communication security, software development security.
