Join us as a Network Security (Core) Engineer on our Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations team, located remotely in the US to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.
What you’ll achieve
As a Network Security (Core) Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation and focusing on internal network security technology development. You will work with our internal network security teams and be a champion for new & existing feature & technology adoption (specifically in network segmentation & segregation).
You will:
- Be familiar with network security technology developments & advances and incorporate innovation into existing environments.
- Create & lead initiatives to evaluate & adopt new & existing technologies & features.
- Prepare and contribute to process and procedures used for new feature & technology implementation.
- Engage with security team (and internal partners) and influence and drive the use of new & existing features & technology.
- Participate & report on cyber related projects & internal customer engagements.

Essential Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in security networking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ability to influence)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SSL. including a Solid Understanding of Zero Trust
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks (at least 2 years hands on experience)
- Experience with security processes and documentation
Desirable Requirements
- Familiar with network fundamentals & firewall technologies including Palo Alto, SonicWALL & Checkpoint
- Industry certifications relevant to the role such as: CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, ACE, PCCSA, PCNSA, PCNSE, CISSP etc.
