This Senior-Technology Security position is defined as an individual contributor with strong technical skills who works independently with minimal supervision. Performs variety of operational responsibilities and complex network security tasks support to accept, integrate, operate, and maintain network security elements (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems , loggers, threat analytics, and load balancers) as part of large data networks including Domain 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 in legacy, CSO, AIC, Network Cloud and Public Cloud per TSO Operational requirements. Must be able to work flexible schedules.

Performs lifecycle activities such as Ops acceptance, software and hardware upgrades, connectivity provisioning and analysis, policy audits and compliance, traffic migrations, maintaining and configuring network security configurations, end-to-end application troubleshooting, risk analysis, defect resolutions, user access management, and other support related activities. Review new and existing connectivity to achieve optimal network performance while minimizing risks and exposures to the AT&T assets. Documents network security change requests, element acceptance, support guidelines and policies, support notes, methods and procedures, best practices, scheduling, checklists, inventory and publish job-aid how-to articles.

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of supporting heterogeneous networking environment and 3 years of operating AT&T data networks. Must have willingness and mental toughness to work in an on-demand, high pressure, and mistake-free environment. Expert knowledge of network security and life cycle management related to security operations and systems administration. Deep security knowledge and understanding of seven OSI Layers. Must have strong technical, organizational, project management, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must have hands on experience with one or more of the following: Palo Alto Firewall, Juniper SRX, F5 AFM Netscreen, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Tipping Point, FireEye, Juniper JSA, QRadar, SNORT, Panorama, Junospace, FortiManager, CSM, Cisco/Juniper (IOS/Juno) switches and routers, Sniffer, IDS and/or IPS.

Desired Skills:

7 + years of technical hands-on experience maintaining security operations for wireless carriers or large ISPs. Must be a highly motivated self-starter and work well with other team members across different departments and organizations. Expert knowledge of security architecture and design, network security, change control, cyberattack and remediations techniques, penetration tests, and prevention techniques.

Strong knowledge of security, auditing, software development lifecycle and principles, computer regulations, laws, investigations and compliance, information security governance and risk management, cryptography, digital signatures and certifications, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Certifications in CISSP or GSEC or CISA and/or JNCIA, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIP-SEC, JNCIE-SEC, CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable.
