PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $107,600-$131,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $83,500-$155,600 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compliance Champion: Use your savvy communication skills to evaluate risk and communicate it in a fact-based manner. Elevate BECU by embodying our core competencies, ensuring compliance, and always safeguarding vital information.

Relationship Builder: Foster trust, understand mutual goals, and collaboratively work towards shared goals.

Solution Expert: Dive deep into cybersecurity infrastructure using your exceptional conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ensuring their flawless functionality. Engage, collaborate, and lead discussions with peers to amplify the effectiveness and efficiency of our cybersecurity services.

Guardian of Evolution: Shape the future by refining BECU’s Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, ensuring they keep pace with emerging threats and the rapid evolution of technology. Craft meticulous, crystal-clear documentation that acts as the North Star for our cybersecurity operations.

Detective of Disruptions: Not just identify, but unravel the mysteries behind tooling issues, ensuring we get to the root cause and craft enduring solutions. Pinpoint pivotal upgrades, unearth operational gaps, and contribute to team performance and security metrics tailored to our state-of-the-art tools.

Sentinel of Cyber Vigilance: Stay ever-alert, monitor, and escalate potential cybersecurity threats, forming the forefront of our proactive defense team. Masterfully maneuver through diverse computing platforms—from cloud to mobile—championing a digital-first approach underpinned by industry best practices. Operate tools and technology within the organization’s security portfolio relative to the various compute and storage platforms used (cloud, mobile, on-prem, colo, etc.).

Custodian of Controls & Integration: Lead the charge in implanting robust cybersecurity controls across platforms, sculpting processes that seamlessly weave in our cybersecurity resources.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in cyber securitysecurity engineering, network engineering, computer incident response, systems architecture, digital platform security (cloud), or related experience.
  • Minimum of two to three years’ experience in Microsoft M365 Security and Compliance suite / Defender suite / DLP.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification. Additional certifications in cloud technology such as CCSK or CCSP.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry.
