Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The following aspects of the production floor network systems and infrastructure for 3-4 US-based plants:

Engage with the Operations, Engineering and technical support teams to drive the implementation of IT systems to a consistent global supported standard

Develop local capabilities across plants for efficient deployment of new technology

Act as escalation point for IT infrastructure, data systems or security services in the cluster.

Owns the business continuity plan including disaster recovery, regarding IT systems

Lead complex manufacturing related technological implementation Together with plants and regions, create and expand IBS Manufacturing capability roadmaps

Drive adherence/governance of systems, solutions, security and architecture standards to ensure system integrity and design is upheld.

Writing functional specifications to ensure that solutions are robust, strategically aligned and efficient to deliver and maintain

Work with external partners to implement new functionality according to business requirements

Requirements:

Proven knowledge of IT Solution Architecture, Manufacturing Work Processes and Manufacturing Environments.

Minimum 8 years’ experience across Information Security, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Applications and Firewalls

Demonstrated ability to meet tight project timelines and think creatively to meet project objectives

Excellent interpersonal communication skills to inform and gain buy-in for best outcomes

Proven analytical problem solver with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment

Valid Driver’s license, a vehicle and the ability to travel with in Canada, the USA and Mexico

Education / Certifications: Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.

Job specific requirements:

Proven knowledge of IT Solution Architecture, Manufacturing Work Processes and Manufacturing Environments.

Minimum 8 years’ experience across Information Security, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Applications and Firewalls

Knowledge of Microsoft products and management

Travel requirements:

Valid Driver’s license, a vehicle

The ability to travel with in Canada, the USA and Mexico (may be required for special projects)

Work schedule: Usually from Monday to Friday. Start time according to plant’s needs. Working hour flexibility is required as some activities must be done during production downtime.
