JOB DESCRIPTION

The Workday Security Lead role is responsible for managing Workday platform security elements and ensuring all policies for data protection are adhered to.

The incumbent of this tole requires a deep understanding of Workday’s security framework. This individual will be responsible for ongoing delivery and support of Workday’s Security. The security lead will work in a team environment with the business and technology teams to provide quality technical and scalable solutions for the organization. This individual will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and results with business stakeholders. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve business problems are also needed. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with all levels of management, colleagues, and vendors are required. Willingness to learn new systems and the overall understanding of the firm’s digital transformation are important.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall Security architecture and governance across the Workday platform (Recruiting, HCM, Payroll, Time-Tracking, and Finance)
  • Configuration and maintenance of various security groups such as role-based, user-based, segmented, intersection, aggregation, and organization memberships
  • Support functional and technical teams by developing, configuring, and maintaining security policies for domains, business processes, dashboards, and reports
  • Support Workday Release preparation and the enablement of new features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues
  • Respond to audit requests and security-based inquiries
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on projects, activities, enhancement requests, break fixes, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements to security design
  • Provide security design recommendations to business partners and senior leaders

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Hands-on Workday Security configuration experience including domains, BP security policies, creating security groups and authentication policies
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform independent analysis as well as configure the system is required

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

  • Knowledge of Workday integrations is a plus
