Senior Security Partner, Enterprise Security (Gaming)

Job Expired
Netflix is the world’s leading streaming entertainment service with 204 million paid memberships in over 190 countries, enjoying TV series, documentaries, and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any internet-connected screen. Members can play, pause and resume watching, all without commercials or commitments.
The Team
The Studio & Corporate Security Partnerships team delivers a balanced approach to securing our workforce. We’re looking for our next Security Partner to lead security conversations between Information Security and our Gaming department. This group owns the picture of risk in their stakeholder’s ecosystem, guides them during incidents, secures business workflows & technical ecosystem, and delivers targeted awareness. Things move fast at Netflix, and this team is essential to ensuring strong alignment that reduces critical risks.
The Opportunity
This role will be a crucial security point of contact for the Netflix Gaming leadership and stakeholders. You will be building relationships with key teams to develop a deep understanding of the line of business, their key security objectives and drive informed security context into their teams. This role will also provide guidance back to our Information Security team to develop solutions that can align well with the business. You will be a champion of reducing risk within their line of business through sound security principles and guidance.
Netflix has a unique and innovative culture that guides us to do things differently. This helps keep velocity high and means that our security team needs to operate differently from a traditional security team. The two important aspects of the culture that affect our operation are “Freedom and Responsibility” and “Context not Control.” Employees have tremendous freedom in their work, along with the corresponding responsibility to do the right thing for Netflix. Instead of controlling our stakeholders with process and security gates, we enable them to securely create great content by providing security context to make the right decisions for Netflix.
