Sr Analyst – Security Infrastructure

Summary:

As part of the Cybersecurity team, the Sr Analyst – Security Infrastructure provides guidance and support for security infrastructure requirements in support of Tyson’s Security and IT program. This position will evaluate technical requirements for network security, host security, cloud security, OT, and other infrastructure platforms. They will facilitate the evaluation, onboarding, and management of security infrastructure tools and processes. The position will work with leadership and architecture to provide technical guidance and evaluation of security controls and will maintain security standards and controls.

This is an individual contributor role and will not have direct reports. This role may direct others based on specific project needs.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical area. Related security or IT infrastructure experience may be acceptable. College degree preferred. Security certifications preferred – CISSP, CISM.

Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in Network Security, Endpoint Security, Platform Security, Cloud Security, IT Infrastructure, OT environments, or a related area preferred. 6+ years of experience required.

Computer Skills: Thorough understanding of security risk management principles.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience communicating risk principles to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Special Skills:

• Strong customer facing skills
• Strong problem solving, negotiating & decision-making skills
• Ability to organize/deliver information appropriately to audiences at all levels within the company
• Preferred experience implementing Infrastructure Security solutions

Supervisory: This is an individual contributor role and will not have direct reports. This role may direct others based on specific project needs.

Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
