Customers Bank is looking for a Team Lead to support the design of the Digital Security Advanced Operations program within the company’s Digital Security Operations Team. Utilizing enterprise and third-party security tools, the Team Lead will be required to organize and lead Threat Hunting and Penetration Testing campaigns looking for vulnerabilities and exploits across the organization and at the integration points with third-party business partners. The Team Lead will coordinate with other security teams and business units to conduct Red Team type tabletop throughout the year to support the growth of the Security Operations Center, the CUBI Security Group, and the overall security posture of the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regularly schedule and periodic penetration tests across multiple environments.
  • Schedule, track, and validate the mitigation of Pentest findings.
  • Collaborate and work closely with internal business units to mitigate security vulnerabilities and exploits.
  • Work on a cross-functional red team to test security controls and prove or disprove hypotheses relating to malicious activity.
  • Build, evolve, and expand threat hunting tooling, techniques, and use-cases
  • Perform ongoing threat hunting tasks across the enterprise.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to analysts and fellow team members.
  • Provide security enhancement reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Create and maintain documented operating procedures.
  • Must stay abreast of and participate in evolving security frameworks and concepts.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Red Team, Penetration testing, and/or a Threat Hunting role.
  • Experience performing investigations using a Security Incident and Event Management system (SIEM).
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • General knowledge of network security and best practices.
  • Understanding of the NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while providing updates/communication.
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
