    Patrick Industries Corporate IT department is seeking a System Administrator to add to their team! Reporting to the IT Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate for this position should have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware, and cloud services to help support internal Customers throughout the Organization.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining essential IT operations. Including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, and much more.

    • Analyzing and figuring out the system needs of an organization
    • Installing hardware and software for the network
    • Maintain M365 and Exchange systems
    • Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs
    • Optimizing and evaluating the system regularly
    • Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
    • Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system
    • Provide technical support for user questions, installation, system monitoring, testing, tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance
    • Installing hardware and software for the network
    • Work with third-party vendors for software bugs, upgrades, and break-fixes
  • Requirements
    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred
    • 3+ years of system administration experience
    • System administration and IT certifications such as Linux, Microsoft, or other systems related fields required
    • Strong knowledge of systems software, hardware, and networking protocols
    • Experience with scripting and automation tools desired
