Donaldson is searching for a Sr. Security Analyst to join our expanding team.

This new position supports global initiatives related to Disaster Recovery (DR), IT and Information Security technical assessments, IT and Information Security Policy assessments, and other governance, risk, and compliance procedures:

  • Develop and maintain DR standards, procedures, methodologies and templates with IT and business departments.
  • Developing testing schedules and gain approval from internal audit management, recovery team leads, and other enterprise stakeholders.
  • Detailed experience in business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) testing, policies, methodologies, and implementations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the execution of the DR exercise plans.
  • Conduct Post Exercise meetings with recovery team leads and selected clients to identify and document issues related to recovery technologies, processes, and support issues.
  • Perform technical risk assessments on potential or current vendors, suppliers, partners and related services or products.
  • Perform policy-based risk assessments across the enterprise, including business units, operational departments, and IT groups.
  • Ensuring the appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives, regulatory requirements, and standards (SOX, NIST 800-171 DoD DFARS, PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, internal and external audits and assessments).
  • Drafting and presenting reports (DR, technical assessments, and policy assessments) and metrics to IT, Security, and business management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional level IT experience to include:
    • 2+ years of direct professional experience with Disaster Recovery (DR)
    • Direct professional experience with DR testing and implementation, technical risk assessments, policy risk assessments, IT controls, data protectionrisk management and technology compliance.
  • Prior hands-on work experience participating or leading enterprise-wide projects.
  • Knowledge of methodologies for design, execution and reporting of IT audits
  • Excellent training and technical writing skills
  • Good Presentation and Communications Skills
  • Proven competency in use of MS Office applications, specifically Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT
  • Related certifications in ABCP, DRI, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience with Information Security experience
