The Senior Financial Analyst -IT Finance reports to the Manager of IT Finance. The role will support and have exposure to senior IT executives. This role works across different teams including Corporate Planning and Information Technology. Key activities include coordinating and managing the accounting and financial analytics of IT Security and Telecommunications. This includes the Reporting, Plan, and Forecasting processes. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely reporting and analytics for investments in the Information Technology Security organization. The role will have many opportunities to improve processes and analytics to support Information Technology’s objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform financial analysis and accounting for Security and Telecommunications functions including maintenance of forecast, headcount, and investment schedules
  • Perform monthly cost center reviews with CISO and team, developing forecast and plan views
  • Analyze and review financial impacts of proposed contracts in the Security and Telecommunications areas
  • Perform financial analysis and accounting including monthly billing journal entries, international invoicing, analytics, variance analysis, and root cause determination
  • Coordinate Security and Telecommunications related balance sheet entries and monthly reconciliations using Blackline financial tools
  •  Administer ledger close activities related to the IT Finance subledger including data feed from supporting SAP systems
  •  Identify invoices that need attention within Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay systems for payment completion and accuracy of accounting
  • Support monthly and annual close and forecast processes via reconciliation, reporting, and analysis using Oracle EPM, Power BI, and Excel
  • Communicate monthly usage of Microsoft Azure, Wireless Devices, and Teleconferencing to business partners with the use of Power BI

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience and strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, PowerPoint), Hyperion Financial Management and Enterprise Performance Management (HFM/EPM).
  • Agility and desire to work across different teams to understand issues from a financial perspective and achieve desired results
  • Experience working under time constraints, balancing multiple deliverables and priorities, consistently meeting deadlines, and influencing by example
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, desire for efficiency, awareness of financial materiality
  • Ability to report and present financial information to various audiences, including executives
  • Experience and/or desire to learn about ERP and reporting platforms including SAP, Oracle, Power BI, and M-PWR
