Intel’s Technology Development Automation and Technology Development Automation (AT ATA) organization is seeking software security engineers. The Software Security Engineer role in our team provides engineering, support, and technical leadership to the organization. This position will focus on the design and implementation of security controls surrounding client/server computing assets to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures. The role requires close partnership with operational teams, architects, and global supply chain partners to deliver effective tools that manage Intel’s systems compliance and minimize risk.
The individual will be expected to learn the business models used within the Intel process technology development environment and use this to define, design, and develop systems and processes that support compliance.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
6+ months of experience in:
- Cybersecurity policies and standards
- Network security
- Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Powershell, Bash)
- 6+ months of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance
- CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity certifications a plus
