Software Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and deadlines related to Artiva scripting, SQL report writing, C#, and HTML. The candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Design, document, and test creation or modification of computer programs related to collection applications.
  • Work closely with the product team and development resources across all phases of projects. This includes contributing to all phases of the development life cycle.
  • Review data/environments using SQL to understand/improve processes.
  • Develop and improve Artiva scripts, tables, menus, workflows, views and windows.
  • Produce detailed specifications. Partner with business units to create, modify and maintain workflows and other processes that enhance the Company’s business practices.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong security, performance, optimization, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with QA to develop comprehensive and appropriate test strategies for each release.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Comply with policies and procedures as required.
  • May be required to travel to office once a quarter.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Experience
  • Minimum two years of experience working as a software developer.
  • Experience successfully compiling usage or tracking data in a business setting required.
  • Self-starter with results oriented, proactive management approach that focuses on getting the job done.
  • Experience working with Artiva Workstation, Studio, and Version Manager and developing in Artiva or Cache preferred.
Technical
  • Significant experience working with Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Word and Access.
  • Skilled developer in at least one of the following code bases, C#, Artiva, Cache
  • Experience with Collection systems including:
    • Artiva (FINVI); Foundations, System Administration, Data Structures, Scripts and file processing.
    • FACS (FINVI), and Collection Operations knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of systems (e.g., various programming languages, databases, system and network architectures, design patterns, etc.) and quality assurance methodologies preferred.
Language/Communication/Interpersonal
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Ability to establish effective professional relationships with all internal and external business partners.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing business needs. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.
Clearance
As a federal contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance granting access to classified information. The background investigation is conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and is an evaluation of the whole person to determine suitability. The suitability review begins after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted and will include a review of your employment, education, residences, references, criminal history and credit, as an example. Some of the most important factors in an investigation are the individual’s honesty, candor, and thoroughness in the completion of their security forms. In rare instances, non-U.S. citizens with highly specialized skills and experience may also be considered for the security clearance process.

Security
Information and Physical Security is the responsibility of every employee. In your position you are required to safeguard the computer systems by following proper username and password management which includes selecting challenging passwords and committing them to memory, they should not be written down or stored where others can freely have access. This also includes securing your desk and workstation when you are not there. This includes locking your session and putting sensitive paperwork away when not physically at your desk. You are not to share your username or password with anyone. The physical security of our offices of are equal importance, never shadow or let someone shadow your entry into a Coast Professional, Inc. facility. If this occurs quickly report this action immediately. You are required to follow all Information Technology policies and procedures regarding the management of your system accounts and equipment. If you witness any security violation you should immediately report it to management.
