Brown & Brown’s Specialty Risk Solutions, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Senior Cyber Risk Analyst to join the Executive Liability Practice in Atlanta, GA.

The Senior Cyber Risk Analyst will work closely with Cyber Team and Cyber Risk Advisory Leader in positioning Brown & Brown as clients trusted advisor through data-driven quantification and comprehensive cyber solutions. Work closely with CISO’s, Risk Managers and other stakeholders in assessing and measuring residual risk of cyber event scenarios by utilizing and applying proprietary methodologies and analytics through advisory services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in driving Cyber Risk Advisory services as a main differentiator for B&B Cyber practice
  • Help establish processes and methods for delivering Cyber Advisory services in an efficient and profitable manner
  • Help develop methodologies for new service offerings
  • Help create scalability of Advisory Services across Brown & Brown Retail
  • Work closely with analytics team on evolving our cyber risk quantification models.
  • Assist with project management responsibilities of the cyber practice innovation initiative
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through research and authoring of technical whitepapers and client advisories
  • Support Cyber Advisory Practice Leader with Large Account Projects including:
    • Attack Surface Report Diagnostics
    • Cyber Scenario development
    • Quantitative Analysis of Cyber Event(s) Impact on an Enterprise basis
    • Assist in developing final reports with actionable outputs to improve overall cybersecurity maturity and recommendations
  • Attack Surface Report Diagnostics

  • Assist in developing final reports with actionable outputs to improve overall cybersecurity maturity and recommendations
  • Support Cyber Brokerage team with:
    • Review of client underwriting applications and presentations
    • Providing clients with recommendations on cyber control areas needing improvement
    • Preparing client for and coaching them through the renewal process
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (including but not limited to) Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Assurance, and/or Risk Management, and/or 3-5 years of related cyber risk management experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity controls, risk management processes, and preferably risk quantification methodologies.
  • Consulting background with direct client engagement preferred.
  • Insurance industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to lead client and/or market discussions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to develop sound relationships with clients, underwriters, and other vendors.
  • Ability to use initiative and good judgment in accomplishing tasks with minimal errors. Must possess critical thinking skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships and to function in a team environment.
  • Good listening skills.
