Accountable for managing the health, stability and sustainability of SAP Security at Kimberly-Clark. Follow and help maintain SAP security architecture, design and integration standards to ensure new security technology implementations result in high availability, quality, and secure solutions across the entire Kimberly-Clark environment. Includes providing deep expertise with SAP security and providing oversight direction to service delivery partners. Individual will work on implementing and integrating new security profiles roles (task based) during system upgrades & new installations, deploying new security capabilities, provide forward thinking skills to ensure Kimberly-Clark is not negatively exposed from an SAP security perspective, and providing level 3/4 expertise in support of projects as well as assisting service delivery partners. Consult and assist in the implementation of processes to maintain and improve SAP security.

This individual provides subject matter expertise across multiple disciplines within the SAP security space. Demonstrated depth as well as breadth of knowledge across the IT technology stacks. You will deliver some First of a Kind and Second of a Kind (FOAK / SOAK) solutions to meet the changing technology requirements. You will work across a globally diverse team comprised of IT consultants, analysts, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluating, testing, recommending, architecting, developing, coordinating, monitoring and maintaining information security for SAP platforms and systems, user identities, user access roles, and applications; driving strategic SAP security architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP platforms: e.g., ECC, BW, SCM, Solution Manager, Hana, S/4HANA, and Fiori
  • Understanding of key business processes to help build task-based roles which are SOD-free and compliant
  • Ensures that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services. Ensures that such problems are fully documented within the relevant reporting system(s).
  • Ensures SAP security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IS standards and overall IS security
  • Identifies SAP security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents
  • Develops techniques and procedures for conducting SAP security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents
  • Coordination of internal control activities across ITS teams, including Audit preparation and health checks for SAP platforms
  • Mentor and educate teams with expert SAP knowledge of information security event management, security forensics, operations, implementations of new technologies
  • Oversees and directs work of contract labor and external delivery partners.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor degree with 5+yrs. of relevant professional experience
  • 5+yrs. experience in the SAP security domain deploying authorization objects, task-based roles, and profiles.
  • Ability to architect SAP roles, with least privileged model and SOD-free
  • Understanding of GRC processes
  • Ability to apply SAP security solutions to business needs and requirements
  • Ability to bridge business and technology acumen
  • Have the capability to discuss supported technologies and new capabilities in simple terms and be able to articulate issues that drive standard decisions to all levels in the organization
  • Success in collaborating and organizing with customers, partners, and co-workers across cultural boundaries
