Program Manager – Security

Full Job Description

As a Program Manager in Security, the candidate will have a key responsibility in delivering to HP’s initiative of The Most Secure Printers in the World. The candidate will be responsible for understanding Security requirements and will work with the Security team and partners to groom and scope Security requirements. The candidate will work closely with the Engineering Manager to drive the delivery of the requirements.

The candidate will partner with other key personnel in delivering HP’s objective of The Most Secure Printers in the World.

Job Responsibilities

  • This is a leadership position and the candidate will drive Security initiatives
  • Know and understand hp’s business objectives for Security
  • Investigate and understand Security requirements
  • Build a delivery plan. Review the plan with partners and get alignment
  • Drive the delivery plan meet business objectives
  • Track delivery progress and address concerns or risks early
  • Regularly provide documented delivery status and progress reports to management
  • Present delivery status and results to management periodically
  • Identify future Security trends and help guide the business accordingly
  • Support Security roadmap planning process

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively across organizations and teams
  • Knowledge of Security basics
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
