Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced cloud security engineer to build out and support a variety of cybersecurity technologies and processes. The ideal candidate has experience working with large scale enterprise SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, and has direct experience with cybersecurity disciplines. This includes working with the hardware and software involved in developing and implementing cloud systems that store data, ensure data security, and facilitate connectivity so data is accessed and utilized effectively by users. You will also continually evaluate emerging technologies and assess whether or not they should be integrated into our computing environment.

What you would do in this job: 

  • Evaluate and lead new technological developments and evolving business requirements, and recommend appropriate technological alternatives to clients and management
  • Work closely with the enterprise solution architects to define and develop service and technology roadmaps and identify new services and solutions
  • Work with vendor support to continuously improve the product implementation, integration and utilization.
  • Partner with other enterprise teams to integrate Cybersecurity solutions with other tooling ecosystems (e.g., DevOps pipeline)
  • Lead performance tuning, disaster recovery, and integration of applications with other enterprise tools such as ServiceNow
  • Partner with compliance, governance and risk, as needed, to meet corporate policies and regulatory mandates
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with internal and external customers relating to incidents, problems, changes and maintenance
  • Troubleshooting complex systems, remediating issues, and taking steps to prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical messages
  • Project management and leadership skills (agile preferred) with proven ability to deliver outcomes on complex long-term focused projects involving multiple disciplines or business units
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Windows Server, Active Directory and/or Exchange
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience supporting web infrastructure running in a Linux and/or Unix environment
