Lead Security Analyst – PCI 7 views

Job Summary:

This role’s primary purpose is leading, managing, and delivering Lowe’s PCI Assessment and Strategic consulting on a variety of PCI engagements. This role will function as consulting advisory across the business. This role addresses complex and interdependent issues that span across technologies, business units, and services and drives continuous enhancement to tools and processes.

This includes creating, executing, and improving processes and procedures while also providing thought leadership and guidance to the rest of the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction and oversight to project teams to design, develop, deploy and sustain solutions that meet PCI DSS requirements, including but not limited to a set of technical deliverables, cost, schedule, quality, and status reporting
  • Works collaboratively across multiple business units to gather documentation for PCI Level-1 Assessments
  • Provides PCI remediation consulting, identify scope and validation, and conduct subsidiary PCI engagements
  • Develops and presents Executive presentations and deliverables related to PCI projects
  • Manages PCI-related investigations and guides service teams
  • Designs and facilitates process optimization initiatives
  • Creates standing and maintains strong cohesiveness with groups involved with payment security and compliance matters across the business
  • Maintains process documentation repositories; ensures the information is compiled in a thorough and organized manner
  • Leads efforts to develop standard operating procedures; identifies and incorporates improvements on procedures based on best practices and industry trends
  • Consolidates security-related findings, tracks KPIs, and presents results to information security and business leaders and/or vendors
  • Advises users and team members on the execution of complex processes, interprets standards and regulations, and assists with solutions
  • Mentors and advises others, sharing an in-depth understanding of the company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
  • Partners with senior key stakeholders to develop and/or update Information Security documents such as policies, standards, procedures, training
  • Develops and presents Executive presentations and deliverables related to PCI projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work or military experience in a related field)
  • 6 years of experience in information security
  • Advanced understanding of fundamental security and network concepts (Windows and Unix security: OS lockdown; logging and monitoring; application security; user access; perimeter protection principles, network communication rules; intrusion detection and analysis methods; etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT experience in the retail industry
  • Relevant information security certifications CISA, CISM, PCI-QSA and/or related certifications preferred
  • Advance experience in payment card data security, PCI-DSS, and audit
