We are seeking senior experienced cloud solutions architect who can be part of this exciting journey at Chubb. The successful candidate will be responsible for data solutions on cloud that are secure, scalable, and highly available. A successful candidate would have hands-on experience of container platforms (Kubernetes), Cloud Platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS), and experience with application architecture best practices for cloud and Infrastructure as code.

The Senior solutions architect will work closely with development teams to ensure cloud solutions meet their needs and support their application lifecycle. The candidate will also be responsible for optimizing and monitoring cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and availability. This is a unique opportunity for right leader to steer the product capabilities as Chubb Embarks on enhancing its cloud platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership to build and execute on the Chubb’s Cloud strategy. Present to Senior stakeholders and executive on the roadmap and progress of cloud projects.
  • Work on the cloud transformation projects across Chubb and provide architectural guidance to developers and stakeholders.
  • Design and implement right cloud patterns including resiliency and performance best practices that meets developer needs.
  • Make sure application teams are following Cloud Adoption Framework and designing apps with current Chubb Standards.
  • Implement automation and self-service capabilities using CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure.
  • Document and Design controls and governance policies around cloud platform and automate deployments of the security policies in collaboration with security team.
  • Manage the end user collaboration conduct regular sessions to educate Application users on services and automation capabilities and Chubb best practices.
  • Attend escalations and provide support during major production issues.
  • Assess the current application maturity with regards to cloud native architecture and direct them towards cloud native migration pattern.
  • Lead Cost management and optimization initiative with application teams to optimize and build right cost model for applications.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 15-year experience in IT automation with 5 years supporting cloud platform (Azure/GCP).
  • Relevant Azure/GCP certification.
  • Experience with large cloud transformation projects preferably in GCP.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platform mainly Azure/GCP. Worked on design of IAM/Security/Monitoring and Network Design of Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as code and pipelines preferably using terraform, ansible, Bash and Jenkins and provide test automation.
  • Ability to work in both windows and Linux environment with Containers platform such as Kubernetes, AKS, GKE.
  • Excellent experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK and Prometheus and change management tool such as ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
