Position Purpose Summary

The purpose of this position is to make things more secure by protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data.This position is part of the Information Technology Systems department, Enterprise Security group.This person will interface with internal and external customers to evaluate system security requirements.

Responsibilities

This position assists with engineering, implementing and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.

This position provides 24×7 support for the DNS environment, internet facing services, network monitoring service and internet gateway services.

This position assists in the design and implementation of corporate wide Identity Access Management initiatives to automate the provisions and de-provisioning of user accounts and to enable Single Sign On across Directories and Business applications.

This position performs/assists with internal audits to identity security issues, system vulnerabilities and risks and develops mitigation plans to ensure asset protection.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science, Information Technology Systems, strongly preferred.

Previous work experience in related ITS areas (1-2 years) strongly preferred.

Applicant should have familiarity with application versus Network Security administration.

Applicant should have familiarity with Local and Wide Area Networks.

Applicant should have familiarity with investigating and resolving first echelon help desk service requests.

Must have mastered basic keyboarding and editing skills. Must be Windows Operating Systems literate.

Must have strong organizational skills to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.

Must have the ability to adapt to and work effectively and independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment.

Must be able to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness.

Must be an effective communicator, verbal and written.

Must be able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of plant and corporate personnel and with customers and vendors.
