Job Summary

The InfoSec Risk Analyst, at the direction of the team lead and InfoSec management, will perform functions related to third- and fourth-party risk. The employee will gather evidence of information security controls from third-parties, including vendors and partners, and report, monitor, and re-assess the parties’ information security posture for the duration of their relationship with CRL. The employee will liaison between CRL’s business lines, CRL legal, CRL procurement, and the prospective third parties. They will serve as a point of contact for third party risk oversight activities

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Initiates and facilitates third party screening process.
  • Drafts due diligence and investigation reports as required.
  • Collaborate with assigned internal business partners to evaluate risks related to certain third-party service providers, as part of the company‘s overall Third-Party Risk
  • Coordinate and manage Third Party risk assessments on set schedules and ensure appropriate remediation activities
  • Assists in the enhancement and implementation of the third-party risk management program, including proposing new or enhanced processes.
  • Supports monitoring of third parties and other business partners to confirm alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Facilitates consistency with CRL compliance policies, procedures, and standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in IT security.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure: IT security related certification desired (e.g., Security +, CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or similar professional certification).

Other

 Understanding of HIPAA-HITECH, PCI, SOX, GxPs, Data Privacy regulations, etc.

 Knowledge of IT and information security best practices.

 Able to handle moderate problem resolution with general supervision.

 Experience in risk assessment, audit, and IT security assessments.

 Must have strong interpersonal, teamwork, self-initiative skills.
