We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Intelligence Analyst to join our Information Security Division team. We are seeking a highly skilled Insider Threat Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in insider threat tactics to include insider fraud tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and behavioral analytics. The ideal candidate will excel at creating detailed anatomy of attacks to understand and anticipate insider threat and fraud scenarios. This role is essential to proactively prevent risks by aligning current and future controls with industry-observed attack chains, thereby safeguarding BNY’s assets, data, and reputation. This role is located in Pittsburgh, Pa, Lake Mary, Fl.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Monitor, analyze, and investigate insider threat and insider fraud activities using diverse data sources and advanced behavioral analytics.
 - Develop comprehensive anatomy of attacks that map insider threat and fraud TTPs, enabling a deep understanding of attack chains and threat actor behaviors.
 - Leverage behavioral analytics to identify anomalous activities and predict potential insider risks.
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and align mitigation strategies and controls with evolving industry attack patterns.
 - Produce actionable intelligence reports and briefings for leadership and relevant stakeholders to inform risk management decisions.
 - Support incident response and root cause analysis related to insider threats and fraud.
 - Continuously enhance insider threat detection capabilities by researching emerging trends and integrating best practices.
 - Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to insider threat and fraud prevention.
 
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Proven experience in insider threat intelligence with a strong focus on insider fraud TTPs and behavioral analytics.
 - Typically 6-10 years of experience in information security or related technology experience required.
 - Demonstrated ability to create detailed anatomy of attacks and align controls to observed attack chains.
 - Proficiency with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and data analytics techniques.
 - Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
 - Relevant certifications such as Certified Insider Threat Program Manager (CITPM), GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), or fraud-related certifications are a plus.
 - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Behavioral Science, or related field preferred.
