Intel is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join its Governance Risk and Compliance Organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership to ensure the corporation’s compliance with relevant government and industry legislation and regulations. You will support the framework design and controls testing of multiple compliance frameworks such as Sarbanes-Oxley, NIST 800 series, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and CFATs. You will collaborate with the control owners and program managers to ensure controls are designed according to the applicable processes, periodic tests are performed, and evidence gathered and uploaded.

Primary responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Build a solid understanding of Intel’s Information Security policies.
  • Conducts periodic and systematic evaluations of internal control systems and audit trails and makes recommendations for continuous improvement in processes and controls.
  • Implements programs and provides ongoing assessment of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (when required), identifies risk areas, determines remediation activities, and monitors strategies to remedy SOX deficiencies.
  • Coordinates compliance training and initiates changes in procedures due to new or revised regulations.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Contributes to team effort by assisting other teammates when additional effort is needed.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber SecurityInformation Security, Management Information Systems or any other related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Knowledge of the COBIT/NIST/ ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Professional certifications from information security organizations such as: ISC2 and ISACA are a strong plus.

Intel’s Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
