JOB TITLE: Information Security Analyst

REPORTS TO: Manager of Information Security


We are searching for a driven and innovative Information Security Analyst to join our team! The chosen candidate will serve as the first point of contact for maintaining user IDs for all key financial systems and will be responsible for the development and establishment of ID management and documentation as it relates to SOX compliance. As an Information Security Analyst, you will monitor, identify and resolve all issue while working with IT Administrators (Web, Linux and Windows), Store Managers and Help Desk personnel. The person selected for this role will also be tasked with compiling weekly statistics on the effectiveness and make modifications in response.   • Manage the creation of IDs, deletions and changes within Active Directory and other systems
  • Perform quarterly review of all systems – audit IDs, maintain access rights and obtain appropriate signoffs
  • Serve as a backup for Change Management process
  • Ensure departing employees are properly removed from all systems
  • Manage file integrity monitoring and anti-virus systems
  • Provision DUO access, ensuring proper approval has been received
  • Manage Crowdstrike environment
  • Provide reports and documentation for SOX and PCI audits as assigned
  • Monitor security logs for violations and anomalous events and reports information security concerns and problems, when necessary
  • Provide updates to the overall policies, goals and procedures for the information security function for BNC
  • Promotes information security awareness
  • Improves security efficiency, streamlines work and works collaboratively department personnel to accomplish objectives
  • Serves as an on-call response to remediate critical problems with security alerts and notifications.
  • Additional responsibilities as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong documentation and spreadsheet creation and time management skills a must
  • Proactive problem-solving ability with proven experience troubleshooting and analyzing problems
  • Strong time management experience with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization using proper business and technical terminology
  • Ability to understand logical access in relation to system roles and ID creation
  • Knowledge of operating systems including, Linux, and Windows
  • Exposure to Active Directory (understanding directories, permissions, etc.)
  • General knowledge of network infrastructure and centrally managed anti-virus (Crowdstrike is a plus)
  • Experience creating and implementing process documentation and working with a help desk ticketing system
  • Working knowledge of software applications: MS Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Windows
  • Experience with scripting and automating processes is a plus
  • Experience with Identity management systems (Novell NetIQ a plus)
  • File integrity monitoring (Tripwire experience a plus)
