The Information Security Governance team is responsible for on-going risk identification and assessment, advice and training, testing and assessment and oversight and stakeholder reporting. As a key contributor of the team, the Information and Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for helping a global asset management firm navigate an ever-changing security threat and regulatory landscape.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

The candidate can expect to:

  • Participate in the firm’s security risk assessment process that informs the firm’s training and testing programs
  • Conduct top-down security assessments and bottom-up testing to evaluate security risks, the effectiveness of controls and compliance with various policies
  • Evaluate the firm’s information security program against the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and other applicable standards
  • Perform third- and fourth-party security assessments
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues relating to security best practices
  • Draft policies, procedures, and reports to various stakeholders about the firm’s information security program

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or risk management roles preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent security work experience
  • Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISA, etc.) preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate cross functionally amongst teams
  • Resourceful, creative, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for security, technology, and risk assessment
