Head of Global Security Retail

Our Global Security organization is comprised of multiple teams that work together to support our programs and operations around the globe. Our mission is to keep the things that we value safe and secure while protecting the people, assets, and reputation of Facebook. We protect the people of Facebook by creating a safe and secure environment for our culture to flourish. From buildings and servers, to prototypes and ideas, we ensure Facebook’s physical and intellectual assets are safe and secure and make informed decisions to protect Facebook’s reputation. As Head of Global Security Retail, the leader will be responsible for designing the asset protection strategy and leading the programmatic/operational functions to support Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) in the retail landscape. The candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to develop enterprise strategies aimed at reducing security risks for the retail environment. The leader must be highly collaborative and demonstrate ability to influence leaders and excel in cross-functional partnerships, which include Retail Operations, Legal, EHS, Risk, Privacy and more.
Head of Global Security Retail Responsibilities
  • Manage complex Global enterprise retail security program strategy with multiple stakeholders, inputs and teams
  • Manage a high performing and highly visible team to deliver on goals for the business
  • Contribute to the broader Facebook Reality Labs global retail strategy and operations, focused on the customer experience
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent threats, financial loss, brand/reputational impact and other evolving security risks relevant to the retail environment
  • Responsible for both programmatic and operational aspects of retail security/loss prevention function
  • Ensures the protection and safety of all company assets while developing and effectively driving preventative security programs and initiatives
  • Manage, influence and validate a safe and secure culture by driving physical security and safety processes
  • Lead the retail response in crisis situations and create plans for retail events with Facebook Reality Labs
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of retail security experience (Loss Prevention/Asset Protection)
  • 7+ years of retail senior management leadership experience
  • Experience in bringing up consumer retail programs from the ground up
  • Leader and collaborator with proven experience building successful cross functional relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Customer service, communication, and presentation skills
  • Possesses proven planning and organizational skills
  • Experience infusing innovation and creativity
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and tough business conversations to make progress
  • Experience analyzing data and developing actionable insights
  • Experience partnering with executive level stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree (MBA, MS or MA)
  • Retail security certifications
  • Physical security program management
  • Experience in intellectual Property Protection
  • Experience in Supply Chain Security
