Job Description

The Global Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for designing security reference architecture and defining security requirements for solutions. This position is an enterprise domain expert applying broad technical skills, deep industry knowledge and security-focused expertise in solution architecture, technical architecture and software/systems engineering. This individual will lead cross-functional efforts driving security technical strategy.

Responsibilities Include

  • Provides security requirements and recommendations on standards
  • Lead security architecture direction for Cloud solutions as well as Influence peers, cross-functional partners, and IT

leadership

  • Author best practice and reference architectures for security solutions based on PepsiCo standards
  • Produce security architecture specifications and design documents
  • Effectively communicate security risk to various audience levels
  • Assist in setting the strategic security direction and approach for utilizing new technologies
  • Utilize security expertise to influence approaches to solving strategic business needs
  • Understand security trends and direction technology must take to support the business

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or a related discipline) or relevant work experience

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in the design and implementation of complex IT systems
  • 5+ years of experience in an information security
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
  • Experience building security reference architecture
  • Knowledge of standard IT technologies
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools, process, methods, and fundamentals
  • Significant technical expertise in Cloud security
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
