Perform Cyber Security efforts associated with Embedded and Software products. Individuals must have the ability to read and understand system and security requirements, and design approaches based on those requirements. The individual will identify, create, and execute security test cases throughout the development phases of a project or product. The selected candidate is expected to have a background in the product life cycle, design products, and troubleshooting and will be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design, validation, and production). Individuals must be self-directed, highly motivated, eager to learn, and organized with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work on multiple projects and functions in a team environment globally.

Essential Responsibilities – Internal

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the product security requirements and use cases to deliver high-quality software on schedule for production releases.
  • In-depth knowledge of functional testing and application security testing
  • Implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture testing and code review to improve software security
  • Expertise in testing security-focused products and internet technologies and implementing Open Source Tools to perform Security Testing.
  • Should be able to analyze application security vulnerabilities found through testing and collaborate with the development and other internal technical teams to provide mitigation steps to reduce the risk.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities, and remediation
  • Create and execute test plans and test cases based upon functional and product design specifications and report results as per Cyber security policies and procedures.
  • Help, define, promote, and ensure adherence to Quality/Cyber Security assurance processes such as test plan reviews, defect management, risk/complexity analysis, and regression test maintenance.
  • Work closely with developers on assigned test projects and help in delivering quality software
  • Participates and contributes to design review sessions.

Qualifications/Requirements – Internal

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science with a minimum 2 years experience in cyber security or Bachelor/Associates degree (or equivalent) with a minimum 5 years experience in cyber security.
  • CEH/OSCP certification would be an added advantage.
  • Programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or any development language is a plus.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
