What you will be doing

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The charter of the Information Security Office (ISO) is to partner with AmerisourceBergen’s business units, other corporate support functions, and user community to protect the corporate brand, data, and assets. The ISO is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of an information security framework, policies, reporting and processes that protect AmerisourceBergen’s business, services, information and systems against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage, and loss.

Under general direction of the Director of AmerisourceBergen Information Security Awareness, the team member will be responsible for executing all simulated phishing assessments across

the AmerisourceBergen and Alliance Healthcare enterprise, and providing insightful and actionable dashboards for business engagement that can be used to manage their security risks.

The Information Security Awareness Data Analyst II activities include:

  • Designing and executing simulated phishing campaigns for AmerisourceBergen and Alliance Healthcare.
  • Providing in-depth analysis of user data after phishing campaigns, including data cleansing, visualization, and examination of areas of human risk to the organization.
  • Creating detailed reports of results to highlight areas of risk in a user-friendly dashboard to be delivered to data owners.
  • Designing and delivering engaging awareness content for our Alliance Healthcare team members.
  • Supporting the mission of the Information Security Training and Awareness team to create a security-conscious culture at AmerisourceBergen and Alliance Healthcare.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Management Information Systems, BS/BA Data Science & Analytics, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with phishing software and presenting results.
  • Typically requires 3-5 years IT experience with 2 or more of data analysis work, with proven experience using statistics to generate clear and effective recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, and previously used and maintained a BI tool

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Multilingual a plus. (Required: English Optional: Turkish, French, Spanish)
  • Experience with simulated phishing software, preferably Proofpoint (Wombat).
  • Reporting and data visualization skills using software, preferably Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of with Information Security controls and how they are reflected in enterprise policies.
    • Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is a plus.
  • Ability to blend technical information with graphic design and marketing skills to create engaging content for an everyday user.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA Data Science & Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically requires 3-5 years IT experience with 2 or more of data analytic work with proven experience using statistics to generate clear and effective recommendations
  • Experience in HTML
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, and previously used and maintained a BI tool
  • Familiarity with integration of data between systems
  • Knowledge of security issues and IT risk management

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Generate standard and custom reports summarizing business data for review by leadership team and other stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
  • Ability to QA and troubleshoot large data sets and identify inconsistencies
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements to processes and communications
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present and discuss business issues, strategies as well as technical information in a manner that establishes rapport and persuades others at all levels of the organization
    • Good business and financial planning, analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business risks and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
    • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines

    • Reporting and data visualization skills using software and proficient in Power BI or Tableau

    • Knowledge of data gathering, cleansing, and transforming techniques
