Essential Job Functions

  • Establish, maintain, monitor, and communicate the cybersecurity posture of the system
  • Provides technical security direction on feature implementation and contributes to secure workflows for new product features
  • Responsibility for maintaining and updating information security standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Provide incident response assistance when there are possible cyber malicious acts and vulnerabilities
  • Monitor security scans and 3rd party audits for security vulnerabilities
  • Work with Engineering and security principles to implement remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Perform web application testing, source code reviews, threat analysis, and security vulnerability mitigation as needed
  • Assess and implement new tools used to improve the cybersecurity posture
  • Perform threat modeling, security assurance testing, cyber risk assessments, security reviews, and threat vulnerability assessments
  • Provides audit, analysis, and review support for certification, standards, governance
  • Overcome difficult technical roadblocks through creativity and tenacity
  • Continuous learning and staying current with technology and industry best practices
  • Provide reliable estimates of future efforts with clear identification of risks and assumptions
  • Contribute to customer requirements decomposition, system design, and technology down select processes

Desired

  • Comfortable working in the Windows operating systems and .NET framework
  • Software to Hardware interfacing using low-level protocols
  • Familiar with agile development methodologies and practices

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience working with cybersecurity tools including static code analysis, source code scanning, and pen testing
  • 2+ years working alongside engineering to ensure cybersecurity is integrated into the complete SDLC lifecycle
  • 2+ years of demonstrated proficiency with at least one scripting language
  • Familiarity with at least one high level, object-oriented programming language
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Bachelors Degree (CS or science-based degree preferred)
