PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $107,600-$131,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $83,500-$155,600 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. What You’ll Do

Compliance & Policy Captain: Navigate responsibilities with BECU’s best practices, ensuring everything’s in tip-top shape with compliance and data protection and keep our cybersecurity guidelines fresh and agile, adapting to the ever-shifting tech landscape and threats.

Relationship Builder: Evaluate risk, problem solve, and communicate in a fact-based manner with audiences who understand tech and those who don’t. Solve problems using analysis and organizational skills.

Tool Tinkerer: Dive deep into cybersecurity tools, keeping them sharp and smooth. Plus, share your wisdom to elevate our cyber services.

Issues & Upgrades Investigator: Pinpoint tooling snags, ensuring we get to the root of the matter and wrap it up neatly. Spot the need for tech tweaks and shape our performance metrics with the tools in play. Be on the frontline, keenly monitoring and responding to cybersecurity events as part of our vigilant defense team.

Tech Maestro: Masterfully manage our security tools across diverse platforms, embracing a digital-first approach with industry best practices. Craft crystal-clear documentation for our cybersecurity toolkit processes.

Control Champion & Emergency Expert: Lead the charge in implementing cybersecurity controls across all tech platforms and refining our tool integration processes. Offer on-call support when things heat up and stand strong with our Security Incident Response Team.

Does this sound like your kind of challenge?

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in cyber securitysecurity engineering, network engineering, computer incident response, systems architecture, digital platform security (cloud), or related experience.
  • Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification. Additional certifications in digital forensics, cloud technology such as CCSK or CCSP.
