About the Team

Do you want to join a growing team trying to solve tough security & technical problems? The Vulnerability Management team is tasked with discovering, assessing, reporting, and tracking remediation of all types of vulnerabilities throughout Workday. We try to seek the root cause of issues and don’t paper over cracks! We are a technical team with a strong communications side who rely on collaboration with infrastructure & development teams to keep our customers’ data secure!

This exciting opportunity will put you at the forefront of open-source & supply chain security issues impacting the software industry today.
You will contribute to building & running security tools & projects to make Workday more secure for our customers. We are looking for someone who is comfortable diving into problem solving with development teams and analyzing the impact of vulnerabilities. If you have a background working in a Secure DevOps environment, that’s even better!
About You
Basic Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Information SecurityApplication Security, or a Development role with a security focus.
  • Understanding of how software build tools work in a CI/CD environment
  • Understanding of open-source software security and supply chain issues
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment with diverse teams and technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of various operating systems, TCP/IP networking, OWASP Top 10
Other Qualifications
  • Strong analytical & communications skills
  • Ability to apply programming/scripting skills to automate and improve existing processes
  • Understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices or experience working in a DevSecOps role
