The Corporate Security Senior Associate, Security Installation Project Manager will act as the primary on-site security leader responsible for assessing physical security technology installation requirements, developing project schedules and ensuring project execution according to plan on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assesses physical security technology installation requirements, develops project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects.
  • Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued directives and/or scheduling changes. Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Reviews associated cost estimates, proposals and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance.
  • Manages costs, billings and collections. Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client.
  • Reviews and interprets contract Terms and Conditions.
  • Analyzes financial reporting systems and project schedules to proactively address potential problems. Effectively communicates project progress, issues and financial status to management as required.
  • Manages risks and establishes project recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation.
  • Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontracts.
  • Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and client standards.
  • Oversees project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques.
  • Manages the selection, ordering, delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.
  • Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors and subcontractors. Attends job progress meetings as required. Ensures subcontractors understand expectations of the project.
  • Coordinates with the installation or system teams for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives. Ensures any engineering and commissioning performed by the field team is in accordance with established standards. Facilitates escalation of product related problems.
  • Manage enterprise internal Access Control and CCTV projects, as needed.
  • Provide operational support at events and meetings, as needed.
  • Fill in as a security supervisor, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of recent Law Enforcement experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Fire Life Safety, Access Control, CCTV/IP Video
  • Project management experience with a proven track record in physical security and knowledge of IP technology
  • Proficient in computer and software applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficient with the Software House CCure access control system
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under strict and aggressive timelines to meet the required deadlines
  • Ability to possess a valid pistol carry permit.
  • Some travel may be required.
