The Department delivers independent, objective assurance and advisory/consulting services designed to add value and improve operations and financial position. This role has the opportunity to create long-term, sustainable changes that will move the organization forward in supporting the Company’s goals. Internal auditors will gain an in-depth, up-close understanding of the operations, processes, policies and procedures of Graphic Packaging International. Partnering with management, they will provide invaluable operational knowledge and industry insights.

 

Summary:

The Audit Manager, SAP, will deliver independent, objective assurance and advisory services with a focus on SAP system supported processes, security, and controls in order to add value and comply with financial reporting requirements. This includes assuring Graphic Packaging is positioned to achieve its strategic objectives and promoting sustainable, efficient and effective financial reporting and business control and processes.

This position will be responsible for planning, performing, and reporting audit activities related to the Company’s SAP S/4 transformation including implementation reviews, audit support, and control design and verification procedures.

 

Job Duties:

  • Skilled SAP technical specialist to undertake a variety of audit activities including SAP risk support, data extraction, information reporting, process monitoring, integration with GRC, and assisting with SAP Upgrade.
  • Develop and monitor audit project plans to document and test controls and processes associated with the company’s SAP S/4 HANA implementation
  • Advise IT project teams on control considerations during system implementations
  • Support internal audit team in best practice for obtaining SAP documentation and analytics as well as providing strong technical knowledge of the system and configurations
  • Provide the technical understanding of SAP configurations as it relates to the design, development, and testing of automated controls
  • Provide design assistance and testing on identity access management tool implementation
  • Execute internal audit testing and reporting over SAP IT general controls and dependencies
  • Work closely with the company’s external auditor; provide appropriate support to the external auditors in the performance of walkthroughs, as well as IT related dependencies
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and provide advice over relevant SAP regulatory considerations
  • Continuously improve internal audit approaches, tools, methodology and productivity

 

Background:

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance or related fields
  • 5 years of internal IT, SAP, or business process controls experience and understands key business processes, the inherent risks, and potential controls
  • 5 years of proven experience in the design, testing, and implementation of business process controls and ITGCs in an SAP S/4 HANA environment, including both SAP automated and manual controls
  • 3 years of working with segregation of duty frameworks and associated mitigating controls
  • 3 years of leading projects, managing budget, and resource management

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Technical understanding of SAP configurations as it relates to the design, development, and testing of automated controls
  • Full cycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA, including risk assessment, control identification, design, testing, and deployment
  • Strong understanding of control environment impacts related to cloud applications
  • Knowledge of SAP GRC Process Control or other compliance tools
  • Knowledge of Cyber domains such as Cyber Governance, Application Security, Controls and Compliance, Data Privacy and Protection, Infrastructure Security, Identity and Access Management, Monitoring and Response; and Operational Security
  • Available for potential domestic travel up to 25%
  • Demonstrated ability to take accountability and takes initiative and is self-directed
  • Effective time management, including planning and decision-making, identifying priorities, and bringing projects to successful and timely completion with a focus on high standards and quality
  • Strong understanding of audit and documentation requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification preferred, such as: CISA , CISSP, CISM , PMP, CPA, or/and CIA
  • Strong understanding of regulatory concerns impacting SAP and IT environments, including Sarbanes Oxley and data related regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Manufacturing, Packaging, or other related experiences are preferred
  • Audit Board experience is preferred, but not required
