The Enterprise Architecture team is a small group of cross functional technology and domain subject matter experts that creates, implements, and maintains long-term Information Services strategies and plans that enable the delivery of high-value, flexible, responsive, and optimized solutions aligned with the corporate business vision and strategy. The Enterprise Architecture Team needs an Architect, Enterprise Architecture with a strong background in designing, developing, and articulating Integration solutions using both modern cloud technologies and traditional box software. This individual is equally comfortable with classic and modern transports/contracts/services. This individual can speak in a continuum between integration patters and specifications to developers and speak to business leaders about agility and speed to market.

This individual is a coach to many teams in the organization and is a coach, mentor, and influencer.

You will use your technical aptitude and integration experience to analyze different specification and transport needs and design elegant and scalable solutions from concept to implementation. You will bring an interest in automation, integration, cloud, design, and architecture to build and provision world class integration across our multi-cloud landscape to provide loose-coupling and agility.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Partner with product owners, business analysts, and operations teams to translate requirements into solution designs that best achieve the target capabilities
  • Establish governance around business architecture, information architecture, infrastructure architecture, and application architecture
  • Participate as a knowledge expert in enterprise-level architectural decisions
  • Oversee the design of technology infrastructure, hardware, software and office systems support and distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions
  • Engage in code and technical design reviews of solution implementations to ensure code quality and standard methodologies are maintained
  • Own the architecture and maintain all related artifacts (UML, Network Diagrams, application architecture etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to manage and resolve conflicts and articulate to product owners the value of recommended solutions and approach
  • Ensure continuous architecture improvement as cloud services evolve to fully leverage new capabilities as they are made available
  • Problem solver: Provide guidance and mentoring for technical design and architecture decisions within the team and related teams
  • Design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a customer’s strategic business and technical requirements
  • Lead the technical planning and design for large-scale projects with emphasis on good CI/CD practices
  • Provide technical mentorship and feedback to other team members

Position Requirements

Basic/required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent program
  • 12 or more years of total experience
  • 2 or more years experience with integration technologies like (MuleSoft/ BizTalk / Informatica/Tibco )
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience with Cloud technologies
  • Familiar with multiple programming languages, databases, and middleware
  • Thought Leader in architecture arena with a demonstrable track record on large projects
  • Ability to mentor team members, help debug their scripts/code and review their work
  • Well versed in design patterns and understand different networking concepts and security frameworks

Preferred

  • Experience in creating and socializing Enterprise Architecture strategies
  • Know multiple integration products and can right size the solutions in large landscape
  • Experience with complex integrations in hybrid models with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services
  • Software development experience in building microservices and have designed solutions from the ground-up
  • Knowledge of container provisioning and management (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Deep experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with REST, IDOC, XML, EDI, JSON, MQ and various transports
  • Proficient in modern (especially cloud-related) Integration and connectivity technologies such as: TLS (Transport Layer Security) and OAuth (Open Authorization) protocols along with the knowledge of other well used industry specifications
  • Experience with various design patterns
