What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with team members across functional areas to design and architect cloud (AWS) security solutions and configurations to support and enhance M1’s environment.
• Architect and implement security operations within environment, examples:
  • Build zero-trust processes and solutions.
  • Vulnerability management processes.
  • Incident management.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve existing systems, through rebuilds, automation, or innovation—you decide.
• Build, modify and implement tooling and automation to improve the defensive capabilities to meet our evolving objectives and mitigate security threats.
• You learned to do security so that you could help build proactive defense, we need your creative solutions here for ongoing analysis of attack surface and industry threats.
• M1 wants your enthusiasm to be contagious, help us develop training programs on security-related topics—for security, engineering and whoever in the company wants to know more.
• Act as mentor to budding security engineers.
• Grow alongside an exciting, committed team of engineers who will always help you be your best.
• Contribute product ideas to overall company growth.

Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in AWS security architecture, modeling, tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization best practices and technologies.
• Familiarity with modern data security and security automation tools.
• Experience with OWASP.
• Familiarity with cloud security controls and best practices.
• Able to mentor across teams to tackle complex issues.
• Work with security engineers to implement, coach and advise
• Proven track record of positively contributing to a collaborative team in a remote environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, growth-minded.
