About the job

Alcoa is looking for a professional to guide the transformation and modernization of our application eco-system with a particular focus on interoperability and integration.

The Azure Integration Specialist works in partnership with the different application groups and business areas on designing and implementing integration solutions; and supports the build and continuous improvements of a modern integration platform.

Key Activities

  • Develop positive relationships with internal customers and peers
  • Facilitate ideation, option development and design of integration solutions for new digital initiatives and application projects.
  • Support the transformation of Alcoa’s current integration platform by adopting modern tools and integration capabilities for cloud, data, mobile, etc. use cases.
  • Evaluate opportunities to reinvent key integrations in place supporting the transition to target state
  • Stay ahead of with technology trends and innovations
  • Collaborate with IS Architecture & Governance, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, Data Privacy, and other groups to establish and champion the adoption of a modern IT integration architecture practice.
  • Support Alcoa’s digital transformation process by actively promoting the new integration technologies to Alcoa

About you

  • Technical degree; BA or Computer Science background desired.
  • 5+ years’ experience in same or similar assignments
  • Experienced in Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, Data Factory, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering complex integration solutions in a global environment
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills; good communication and problem-solving ability
  • Must be fluent in local language and possess a proficient level of English
