WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build / manage stable secure cloud infrastructure/networking using cloud orchestration capabilities, scripting languages and APIs to design, code, test, implement and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Public Cloud.
  • Experience with configuration of common cloud services in production environment (e.g. compute, storage, networking).
  • Is involved in the development of short-term, operationally focused cloud vision for the Enterprise. Executes tactical steps associated with cloud vision.
  • Build / manage cloud networking capabilities, including load balancers, application firewalls, network access control lists (NACLs), security groups and connectivity in a single cloud environment.

This posting reflects the Engineer I essential functions, qualifications, and physical requirements. The Engineer II and III roles have variable essential functions and qualifications. Competency and skill set will determine level of placement within the posted job family.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Professionally solved challenges with Infrastructure as Code development and proficiency working in one or more of these technologies:
    • Infrastructure as a Code (specifically CDK/Typescript)
    • Container Tech (Docker / ECS / Fargate)
    • Kafka (MSK in AWS)
    • Database/PostgresDB (RDS Aurora in AWS)
  • Independently build / manage cloud services by automating/orchestrating moderately complex processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within a single cloud environment.
  • Are experienced with distributed cloud platform configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management automation tools.
  • Are proficient with scripting and APIs.
  • Understand hybrid-cloud topologies. Can integrate cloud and legacy on-prem environments.
  • Understand security and compliance for cloud environment.
