As the Senior Product Security Architect, you will use your expertise to streamline our security activities into the software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide guidance for defining and implementing the build, deployment, and monitoring controls for Beckman products
  • Work closely with product teams on P&S plan and facilitate P&S assistance
  • As a technical subject matter expert and leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build secure software solutions to help teams deliver and meet requirements, regulatory guidance, and standards
  • Support the agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
  • Build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools using an Agile delivery methodology.
  • Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
  • Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system.
  • Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Lead efforts to integrate security by using open-source tools, security solutions, automation, and cloud resources to support product teams and developers with implementation of security activities.
  • Support the implementation of continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Experience with software development, client-server applications, and cloud systems
  • Industry recognized security certifications such as CISSP or HCISPP required
  • Strong scripting skills, including shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, Groovy, Helm, etc.
  • Experience deploying cloud security controls across AWS and Azure
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related area

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • CSM, CISA, GIAC, CEH, or other technical security certification desired
  • Knowledge of technologies, languages, or frameworks, including C#, Entity Framework, ASP
  • Knowledge of client and server-side web technologies and protocols
  • Knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server environment
  • Experience managing information security in a medical devices manufacturing environment is preferred.
